Kitchen Diner Florals

The brief was to tie an open-plan kitchen and dining space together. The two areas each had their own colours and finishes, and the clients wanted one wall that pulled everything into a single, coherent room while still being the first thing you notice when you walk in.

The palette was taken straight from the space: sage and teal to pick up the kitchen, soft blush to echo the dining area, and small touches of gold to match the brass fittings. Oversized flowers and leaves, drawn in fine black line work, sweep across the full width of the wall so the eye travels from one end of the room to the other.

The result is a calm but striking backdrop that makes the kitchen diner feel like one space.
